We are currently looking for an Events Coordinator and Marketing Assistant to join our Marketing Team...


Events Coordinator


Location: Middlesbrough


We are looking for an experienced, creative and organised Events Coordinator to join our Marketing Team, which works across both companies, Everflow Tech and Everflow Water.

The newly created role is an exciting and rare opportunity for a creative and highly organised individual who wants to make an impact within a fast-growing, modern and innovative group.


As Events Coordinator, you will be at the forefront of helping us build and develop the companies’ reputations and customer base through a variety of external and internal events aimed at existing and potential customers, suppliers and employees.


You must be comfortable with change and able to adapt as the businesses are constantly growing.


Responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Developing creative external and internal event ideas in line with the marketing strategy and company goals, values and vision

  • Producing detailed proposals for events (including timelines, venues and access, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing, audio-visual and budgets)

  • Coordinating and managing the events and event timeline

  • Being on site and the main point of contact for the events

  • Researching and securing venues, negotiating prices and building relationships with suppliers and venues

  • Working closely with the rest of the Marketing Team to produce creative invitations, publicise and promote the events

  • Produce post-event evaluation to inform future events

  • Making sure that insurance, legal and health and safety obligations are followed

  • Ad hoc duties to support the marketing team as required


What we are looking for:

  • A creative individual full of exciting event ideas that will help increase Everflow Tech and Everflow Water’s profiles among target audiences

  • Proven Event Management or Event Coordination experience

  • Confident in taking on responsibility

  • Excellent time management skills and organisational skills

  • A team-player

  • Attention to detail

  • Experience of budget management

  • Willingness to work outside of standard office hours as and when required

  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills

  • Results driven, with the ability to work well under pressure with multiple deadlines

£23,000 – £26,000 DOE

Marketing Assistant


Location: Middlesbrough

This newly created role is an exciting and rare opportunity for a creative and talented individual to join a fast-growing, modern and innovative group.

You will work effectively within the growing Marketing Team to assist with the implementation of marketing strategies, with a focus on digital marketing and content creation.


Responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Reporting to the Marketing Manager, in the role of Marketing Assistant, your duties will include:

  • Managing social media channels including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Instagram

  • Copywriting and proofreading

  • Assisting with the implementation of the marketing strategies for Everflow Tech and Everflow Water

  • Assisting with the creation of social media plans

  • Ensuring information across social media platforms, websites and marketing materials is up-to-date

  • Blog management – researching, writing and uploading posts

  • Assisting with promotional activities

  • Compiling monthly marketing and PR reports

  • Performing administrative tasks to ensure the functionality of marketing activities

  • Ad hoc duties covering marketing, events and graphic design


What we are looking for from you:

  • A degree, relevant qualification or proven experience

  • A team player

  • Excellent writing skills

  • Basic graphic design and photography/editing skills

  • Basic knowledge of SEO and PPC

  • Confidence in taking on responsibility and suggesting ideas

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills

  • Acute attention to detail

  • Willingness to work outside of standard office hours as and when required

  • The ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines

  • Familiarity with all major MS office applications

  • Passion for creating content

  • A positive outlook


Ideally

  • Familiarity with marketing tools including Hootsuite, MailChimp and Canva

  • Knowledge of Google Analytics


Salary

£20,000 – £23,000 DOE
