Tees Valley-based Everflow Group has been shortlisted for a prestigious industry award for its technology innovations, which have significantly improved processes and customer experience.
Everflow Group, based at Wynyard Business Park, has recently launched a technology subsidiary, Everflow Tech, to sit alongside its water retailer, Everflow Water, and has been shortlisted in the Utility Week Awards' ‘Innovation’ category alongside five others, including Octopus Energy, South East Water and UK Power Networks.
The announcement comes in the same month that Everflow Group's CEO, Josh Gill, will attend the Newcastle final for the NatWest Great British Entrepreneur Awards, where he has been shortlisted for two categories, Scale-up Entrepreneur of the Year and Service Industries Entrepreneur of the Year.
Josh says: “When I launched Everflow, it was largely because I saw a gap in the market for a water retailer that would do things differently and improve the industry for both customers and employees. Thanks to our great team, we’ve developed our own software which has been integral to Everflow Water’s growth and scaling and is now being sold to competitors within the water retail industry.”

Everflow Tech will continue to focus on automation and innovation to create a better customer experience – we want our innovations to improve the way the water market works for retailers, water brokerages and most importantly, customers.”
This comes on the back of recent news that the company has experienced 10,000% revenue growth over the last three years, with its current turnover exceeding £50m.
The finals for the Utility Week Awards will take place on 9 December 2019 in London.
